5th, 8th classes results announced
HAFIZABAD— The result of fifth and 8th class examinations held under the Punjab Examination Commission in February last has been announced by the EDO Education Hafizabad. Muhammad Adnan Nasir of Govt. High School No. 2 stood first among all the candidates in Middle examination by obtaining 725 out of 800 marks while Moez Saqib of DPS Hafizabad bagged second position by securing 721 Marks while Sara Azam of Sufi Foundation Public School obtained third position by getting 720 marks.
Waleen Hassan of Govt. Primary Mauloo Chak, Anam of M.C Girls Primary School No. 4 Hafizabad and Private candidate Rabia Fayyaz bagged first position jointly by securing 519/600 marks among the successful candidates of 5th class. Muhammad Rizwan of Mumtaz Academy Madhora Kalan bagged second position by securing 515 marks while Syed Asad Ullah Bokhari of DPS Hafizabad secured third position by getting 513 marks.
According to Registrar Examination Muhammad Abid Hussain, 12,946 students of 8th class appeared in 8th class, 8,504 were declared successful, showing pass percentage of 65.69 while 19,223 students appeared in the 5th class examination of which 8,488 were declared successful showing pass percentage of 44.55.
