Sardar Rahim quits PML-N, joins PML-F

Pakistan Observer - - SPORTS - IRFAN ALIGI KARACHI—

Sardar Rahim had quit Pakistan Muslim League and joined Pakistan Muslim League Functional. He had also filed his nomination papers for contesting the upcoming general elections from two seats of the province including PS-113 and PS-114.

While talking to Pakistan Observer, Rahim said that he had called on Pir Sahab Pagara Saturday morning and with his blessing joined the PMLF and filed his nomination papers for contesting the elections from two constituencies of the province. In reply to a question, he said that he had not to inform the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz Chief or any other high-up of the said party about his decision. The decision of Rahim for parting ways with the PMLN and joining hands with the PMLF would be quite meaningful because the two parties were already in close alliance for the elections. Rahim had been abroad for past many years due to differences with the leadership of the PMLN. Earlier, Hafeez Uddin had already quit the PMLN and joined the Pakistan Tehreek-e Insaf.
