No tolerance to attacks on innocent civilians, armed forces: Nawaz
Directs to expedite formulation of anti-terror laws
ISLAMABAD— Directing to expedite formulation and promulgation of anti-terror laws, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Monday said attack on innocent persons and armed forces will not be tolerated.
Chairing a high level meeting at PM office to review process of anti-terror laws, he said civil administration and the armed forces are on the same page to root out menace of ter- rorism in Karachi, FATA and PATA. He said a coordinated strategy will be adopted to defeat terrorists. There will be no space for attack on innocent civilians and armed forces. Those involved in these crimes must be prosecuted effectively, he said.
The meeting was attended by Minister for Interior Ch. Nisar, Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif, Chief of General Staff Lt. General Ashfaq Nadeem, DG ISI, DG MI and Secretaries of Interior and Law ministries.
