20 Ba­jaur girls ar­rive in Pe­shawar on way to home

Twenty out of 35 mi­nor girl stu- dents of Ba­jaur Agency, stu­dents of re­li­gious ed­u­ca­tional in­stitu-tions re­cov­ered from a house, ar­rived here on Satur­day morn­ing on way to their na­tive places.

They were ex­tended spe­cial re­cep­tion on be­half of Khy­ber Pakhtunkhwa Gov­er­nor Sar­dar Mahtab Ahmad Khan. They were re­ceived by Ad­di­tional Chief Sec­re­tary ( ACS), FATA, Muham­mad Azam at the Pe­shawar Air­port.

On be­half of the Gov­er­nor, the ACS also pre­sented tra­di­tional gifts, in­clud­ing shawls, toys, school bags and some ed­i­bles to the stu­dents. The Di­rec­tor Health, FATA, who was also present on this oc­ca­sion along with a team of med­i­cal staff.

Fiaz Sher­pao, As­sis­tant Po­lit­i­cal Agent, Ba­jaur Agency, who had trav­elled to Karachi to take care of the mi­nor stu­dents un­der the di­rec­tive of Gov­er­nor, ac­com­pa­nied them be­sides par­ents of nine stu­dents.

It was told on this oc­ca­sion that the re­main­ing 15 girl stu­dents had al­ready been handed over to their par­ents in Karachi. It was fur­ther in­formed that as per di­rec­tive of the Gov­er­nor, the FATA Sec­re­tariat borne the en­tire ex­pen­di­tures of the trav­el­ling of girls.—APP
