PTI urged to fo­cus on IDPs

Chair­per­son Na­tional Stand­ing Com­mit­tee for In­for­ma­tion and Broad­cast­ing, Marvi Me­mon has said that Pak­istan Tehriki-In­saf (PTI), should fo­cus on re­solv­ing is­sues of in­ter­nally dis­placed per­sons (IDPs) and Khy­ber Pakhtunkhawa ar­eas.

She said that Pak­istan Tehrik-i-In­saf is wast­ing time in ar­rang­ing pub­lic gath­er­ing, protest demon­stra­tion and sit- ins, adding that proper plan­ning should be made to ad­dress the prob­lems of IDPs.

Talk­ing to me­dia she said that PTI should make ef­forts to im­prove law and or­der, health, ad­min­is­tra­tion and con­trol ex­tor­tion­ist in KPK.

She said that Prime Min­is­ter Muham­mad Nawaz Sharif wanted co­or­di­na­tion of the prov­inces so that good gov­er­nance and de- vel­op­ment works could be made in all parts of the coun­try.

She said that PTI chief’s blame game and im­ma­ture pol­i­tics be­sides protest demon­stra­tion and sit-ins had hit the econ­omy of the coun­try. Marvi said that Pak­istan Mus­lim League Nawaz (PML-N), gov­ern­ment had taken steps to re­vive econ­omy and stream­line the sys­tem for all the in­sti­tu­tions.

She said that PTI pol­i­tics while sit­ting on con­tain­ers would not help re­solve the is­sues of the common man. She said that Pak­istan had launched op­er­a­tion Zarb- eAzb to flush out ter­ror­ists and main­tain peace in the coun­try.

Re­ply­ing to a ques­tion she said that the gov­ern­ment is tak­ing all im­por­tant mea­sures to en­sure peace in the fed­eral cap­i­tal.—APP
