Cold, dry weather likely

Pak­istan Me­te­o­ro­log­i­cal Depart­ment( PMD) on Satur­day fore­cast mainly cold and dry weather over most parts of the coun­try dur­ing the next 24 hours.

Dry weather is ex­pected in Pun­jab, Khy­ber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh and Balochis­tan while cold and dry weather is ex­pected in Kashmir and Gil­gitBaltistan.

Ac­cord­ing to synoptic sit­u­a­tion, con­ti­nen­tal air is pre­vail­ing over most parts of the coun­try.

The Multan Met of­fice has fore­cast dry weather for the city and its sub­urbs dur­ing the next 24 hours. On Satur­day, max­i­mum and min­i­mum tem­pera-tures were recorded as 26 de­gree cel­sius and 12 de­gree cel­sius, re­spec-tively.

The hu­mid­ity was recorded 77 per cent at 8 am and 43 per cent at 5 pm. While, the Quetta Met of­fice has fore­cast dry and cold weather for the provin­cial cap­i­tal on Sun­day. The max­i­mum high­est tem­per­a­ture is likely 20 to 22 centi­grade and the low­est is ex­pected 01 to 05 centi­grade.—APP
