Sh. Rashid asked to va­cate il­le­gally held prop­erty

Chair­man, Evac­uee Trust Prop­erty Board, Sid­dique ul Fa­rooq has urged Awami Mus­lim League chief, Sheikh Rashid Ahmed to end his il­le­gal pos­ses­sion of prop­erty an­nexed with Lal Haveli com­pris­ing a hall and six rooms.

In re­ply to Sheikh Rashid’s state­ment on Satur­day, Sid­dique ul Fa­rooq said that if AML chief did not va­cate the prop­erty then he him­self would stage a sit-in, in front of Lal Haveli.

He said that the prop­erty was oc­cu­pied dur­ing the gov­ern­ment of Gen­eral (Rtd) Pervez Mushar­raf.

The chair­man ETPB clar­i­fied that the Trust had noth­ing to do with Lal Haveli and his prop­erty No D-158. The de­tails of the il­le­gally oc­cu­pied prop­erty of ETPB had al­ready been pub­lished in news­pa­pers —INP
