Op­er­a­tion against un­hy­gienic food

On the di­rec­tions of Mem­ber Ad­min­is­tra­tion and Es­tate, Amer Ali Ahmed, Health Ser­vices Direc­torate (HSD) con­tinue its op­er­a­tion against the sale of un­hy­gienic, ex­pired and adul­ter­ated edi­ble items in the mar­kets of Fed­eral Cap­i­tal.

Ac­cord­ing to press re­lease is­sued here, In this re­gard, spe­cial teams of HSD of Cap­i­tal De­vel­op­ment Au­thor­ity (CDA) con­ducted var­i­ous raids dur­ing the month of Novem­ber and is­sued 148 no­tices and chal­laned 75 peo­ple for sell­ing un­hy­gienic, sub­stan­dard and adul­ter­ated food items in the city.

Spe­cial teams had con­fis­cated 70 pack­ets of Gutka, 25 lit­ters of ex­pired ketchup, two dozens of sub-stan­dard Smosas and ten lit­ters of non-branded and sub­stan­dard cook­ing oil. The lucky win­ners cel­e­brated their vic­tory joy­ously when they re­ceived their cer­tifi­cates and cups from the Chief Guest CEO Roots In­ter­na­tional Schools (RIS) Mr Walid Mush­taq. The ground re­sounded with thun­der­ous ap­plause when Jin­nah House which scored the max­i­mum num­ber of points was de­clared the win­ner house. It was awarded the house trophy.

The sports day ended with clos­ing ad­dress by CEO Mr Walid Mush­taq, em­plac­ing RIS vi­sion in pre­par­ing stu­dents for their fu­ture and con­grat­u­lated Mrs. So­bia Aleem and her or­ga­niz­ing team for a suc­cess­ful con­duct of this mega sport­ing event dur­ing year 2014.
