Operation against unhygienic food
On the directions of Member Administration and Estate, Amer Ali Ahmed, Health Services Directorate (HSD) continue its operation against the sale of unhygienic, expired and adulterated edible items in the markets of Federal Capital.
According to press release issued here, In this regard, special teams of HSD of Capital Development Authority (CDA) conducted various raids during the month of November and issued 148 notices and challaned 75 people for selling unhygienic, substandard and adulterated food items in the city.
Special teams had confiscated 70 packets of Gutka, 25 litters of expired ketchup, two dozens of sub-standard Smosas and ten litters of non-branded and substandard cooking oil. The lucky winners celebrated their victory joyously when they received their certificates and cups from the Chief Guest CEO Roots International Schools (RIS) Mr Walid Mushtaq. The ground resounded with thunderous applause when Jinnah House which scored the maximum number of points was declared the winner house. It was awarded the house trophy.
The sports day ended with closing address by CEO Mr Walid Mushtaq, emplacing RIS vision in preparing students for their future and congratulated Mrs. Sobia Aleem and her organizing team for a successful conduct of this mega sporting event during year 2014.
