CDA mulls over up­grad­ing Karachi company mar­ket

Cap­i­tal De­vel­op­ment Au­thor­ity ( CDA) is con­sid­er­ing to turn Karachi company mar­ket lo­cated in sec­tor G-9 into model mar­ket of fed­eral cap­i­tal.

Karachi company is the busiest trade hub of Is­lam­abad. CDA has sought pro­pos­als from cen­tral traders union of sec­tor G-9 Markaz in this re­gard. Any decision is likely to be taken on this mat­ter in next week. Sources said a rep­re­sen­ta­tive del­e­ga­tion of traders as­so­ci­a­tion G-9 Markaz met deputy DG En­force­ment CDA a day be­fore and ex­changed views with her on op­er­a­tion against en­croach­ments in the mar­ket. Deputy DG En­force­ment told the del­e­ga­tion dur­ing the meet­ing that a strat­egy has been evolved to turn Karachi company mar­ket in to model mar­ket of fed­eral cap­i­tal.—On­line
