KARACHI—Pakistan Rangers Sindh have arrested a most wanted target killer allegedly belonging to the Muttahida Qaumi movement (MQM) from near Nine Zero.

The arrested suspect target killer is identified as Muhammad Kashif aka David. Colonel Faisal of the paramilitary Rangers, who led the targeted operation on a tip-off, as he claimed while talking to the newsmen, said that a huge cache of arms and ammunition was also recovered from a house on identification of the accused. The entire area was cordoned off with the commencement of the targeted operation and none was allowed to enter or leave the Mor Park area. The Rangers had also taken 5 other suspects in custody.

Colonel Faisal of the Rangers said that the accused was on top of the list of most wanted target killers and had been in Dubai for a longer time and had returned to Karachi a few days ago. He told the newsmen that the Rangers had recovered Kalashnikovs in large number, light machine guns, rocket propelling guns and a huge cache of ammunition.

Rangers recovered Rangers uniform in large number, as well.

The Rangers produced the accused Kashif in the antiterror court and sought a 90-day preventive detention, which the ATC approved.

On the other hand, the MQM leader Nadeem Nusrat and Wasay Jalil rejected the Rangers claim for arresting the accused Kashif aka David and said that the accused was arrested from Dubai six months ago and was brought to Karachi where the Rangers kept him in detention.
