IGP pays tribute to services of Soran Singh
PESHAWAR —The Inspector General of Police, Nasir Khan Durrani Tuesday visited District Buner and paid tribute to the services rendered by Sardar Soran Singh for creating religious harmony in the society and his efforts for ensuring peaceful co-existence of followers of various religious denominations.
During the visit Regional Police Officer Malakand DIG Azad Khan, District Police Officer Buner Syed Khalid Mehmood Hamdani and Deputy Commissioner Buner Sikander Zeeshan also ac-companied him. The IGP Nasir Khan Durrani visited the crime scene of target killing of Special Assistant to Chief Minister Sardar Soran Singh who was shot dead last week.
The IGP lauded the fact that Sardar Soran Singh was a true Pakistani who had been advocate of nationalism and dedicated his life for resolving the issues and for uplift of people of Buner irrespective of their caste, creed, gender and religion. The IGP directed RPO and DPO to provide fool proof security to the family and son of Sardar Soran Singh.
