Anti-en­croach­ment op­er­a­tion

RAWALPINDI—Tehsil Mu­nic­i­pal Ad­min­is­tra­tion (TMA), Rawal Town un­der its grand antien­croach­ment op­er­a­tion has con­fis­cated 1800 hand­carts and coun­ters dur­ing last one month.

Ac­cord­ing to PRO, TMA, Rawal Town, the staff un­der the su­per­vi­sion of Town Mu­nic­i­pal Of­fi­cer (TMO) Mir Ak­mal, Town Of­fi­cer Reg­u­la­tion (TOR) Ma­lik Toseef Ahmed and Su­per­in­ten­dent Per­vaiz Mughal con­ducted raids at sev­eral mar­kets and roads in Bara Bazar, Murree Road, Raja Bazar, Com­mer­cial Mar­ket, Said­pur Road, Iqbal Road, Bo­har Bazar, Jamia Masjid Road and Gun­j­mandi and con­fis­cated goods of a large num­ber of en­croach­ers ham­per­ing flow of traf­fic. Fines were also im­posed on the vi­o­la­tors, he added.—APP
