Police officials awarded for tracing Soran Singh murder accused
PESHAWAR—The Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Nasir Khan Durrani Wednesday awarded Buner police officials and jawans on tracing and arresting the real accused involved in the murder of MPA Sardar Soran Singh. The Buner police team was called to CPO Peshawar in recognition of their matchless professional performance by working out the most sensitive and important case in a record shortest possible time of 3 hours.
Addressing on the occasion the IGP informed that the killing of Special Adviser to Chief Minister Soran Singh, was a big tragedy as it has far reaching effects and impact nationally and internationally and thus become a testing case for the police. He said that the miscreants were also taking advantage of it by spreading fear amongst the general public. However the Buner police arise to the occasion and worked out this challenging case in a shortest possible time which has no parallel in the history of police.
The IGP further said that the techniques and approach adopted by the police to trace the real culprits was very much professional, convincing and close to hearts and said that the whole nation was appreciating the professional capabilities of Buner police in this case which also convey clear message to the criminals that they will not escape by taking the law into their hands.
The IGP announced to send the names of the Buner police team to the federal government for highest gallantry award and hoped that they will repeat the same best and professional policing and will add new feathers in the rich cap of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa policing in future too.
The IGP awarded SP Investigation Buner Muhammad Arif, DSP Hqrs Muhammad Naeem, SDPO Pir Baba Inspector Farman Ullah, SHO Pir Baba Inspector Bakht Zameen, Sub Inspectors Khursheed Anwar, Mir Ghazan, Abdul Wakeel, Farrukh Sair, Sher Ali, Hussain Zada, Bakht Farin Shah, Usman Munir, ASI Anwar Saeed, HC Ali Hassan and Constables Asif Khan, Ghani Afsar, Bakht Amir, Abdul Jalil, Irfan, Falak Sher, Sher Wali, Noor, Malook and Mumtaz Rahim with cash prizes and commendation certificates.
