AT­TOCK— The res­i­dents of Peo­ple Colony At­tock are fac­ing lot of prob­lems and in­con­ve­nience be­cause of ir­re­spon­si­ble at­ti­tude and be­hav­iour of the of­fi­cers of Pun­jab Hous­ing and Plan­ning Agency. In At­tock Sub Of­fice of the agency is avail­able but Deputy Di­rec­tor never both­ers to visit this of­fice to solve the prob­lems of the area.

No­ta­bles of Peo­ples Colony At­tock which in­clude Syed Raza Haider Naqvi , Ab­bas Haider , Aun Muham­mad and oth­ers told jour­nal­ists that this colony was es­tab­lished in 1975 and af­ter elaps­ing forty years res­i­dents of the colony are now fac­ing dif­fer­ent prob­lems spe­cially in trans­fer of their houses to their le­gal heirs.

They said, the Deputy Di­rec­tor con­cerned never vis­ited this of­fice and peo­ple have to go to Rawalpindi of­fice, which causes lot of in­con­ve­nience, wastage of time and money.

They de­manded that Chief Min­is­ter Pun­jab, Sec­re­tary Hous­ing, DG Hous­ing and Deputy Sec­re­tary to take no­tice and is­sue or­ders to Deputy Di­rec­tor Hous­ing to visit At­tock at least once a month to solve the prob­lems of the res­i­dents of Peo­ples Colony At­tock.
