Diarrhea

Pakistan Observer - - OPINION - F Z BALOCH

Pakistan is among the top five countries where diarrhoeais playing havov in the form of death ofthe children. Diarrhea occurs due to drinking dirty or unclean water. So, the cases of diarrhea are increasing rapidly. 350,000 children die before the age of five in five countries, including Pakistan.

Globally 2.5 billion cases of diarrhoea are reported; and in 2014, 150,000 cases of it were reported. In Pakistan up to 150 children die daily. The main reason for this fatal disease is poor sanitation. Washing hands with soap and clean water can reduce it. I request to government to provide good sanitation and control the diarrhea. — Via email
