Police arrest 10 lawbreakers including dacoit
RAWALPINDI—Police under its ongoing drive against anti-social elements have arrested 10 lawbreakers including a dacoit accused of robbing money from a man. According to Rawalpindi police spokesman, police recovered 4570 grams charras, 35 liter liquor, two pistols 30 bore with five rounds and LPG refilling equipment from the possession of arrested accused.
Pirwadhai police arrested Naseem Akhtar for having 1310 grams charras while Muhammad Jan, Muhammad Sharif and Tajuddin were sent behind the bars for possessing 1150, 1550 and 560 grams charras respectively. A bootlegger namely Sajjad was booked for carrying 20 liter liquor. Waris Khan police recovered 10 liter liquor from Jamil Masih. Taxila police also recovered five liter liquor from the possession of Tasawar.
Rattaamral police apprehended Adeel Ilyas for having an illegal pistol and three rounds. Naseerabad police raided at an illegal LPG agency and arrested Ahsan Ullah. Meanwhile, Cantt police claimed to have arrested a dacoit namely Ibraheem allegedly involved in a robbery and recovered a 30 bore pistol with two rounds and money snatched at gun point.—APP
