Po­lice ar­rest 10 law­break­ers in­clud­ing da­coit

RAWALPINDI—Po­lice un­der its on­go­ing drive against anti-so­cial el­e­ments have ar­rested 10 law­break­ers in­clud­ing a da­coit ac­cused of rob­bing money from a man. Ac­cord­ing to Rawalpindi po­lice spokesman, po­lice re­cov­ered 4570 grams char­ras, 35 liter liquor, two pis­tols 30 bore with five rounds and LPG re­fill­ing equip­ment from the pos­ses­sion of ar­rested ac­cused.

Pir­wad­hai po­lice ar­rested Naseem Akhtar for hav­ing 1310 grams char­ras while Muham­mad Jan, Muham­mad Sharif and Ta­jud­din were sent be­hind the bars for pos­sess­ing 1150, 1550 and 560 grams char­ras re­spec­tively. A boot­leg­ger namely Sa­j­jad was booked for car­ry­ing 20 liter liquor. Waris Khan po­lice re­cov­ered 10 liter liquor from Jamil Masih. Tax­ila po­lice also re­cov­ered five liter liquor from the pos­ses­sion of Ta­sawar.

Rat­taam­ral po­lice ap­pre­hended Adeel Ilyas for hav­ing an il­le­gal pis­tol and three rounds. Naseer­abad po­lice raided at an il­le­gal LPG agency and ar­rested Ah­san Ul­lah. Mean­while, Cantt po­lice claimed to have ar­rested a da­coit namely Ibra­heem al­legedly in­volved in a rob­bery and re­cov­ered a 30 bore pis­tol with two rounds and money snatched at gun point.—APP
