‘KP chalks out new industrial policy’
PESHAWAR—Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Senior Minister for Irrigation, Sikandar Hayat Khan Sherpao has said the provincial government has devised a new industrial policy to give more and more facilities to the industrialists adding that the investors should take full advantage from the said incentives package. He expressed these views while presiding over a high level meeting of all industries in Peshawar on Wednesday. He said the youth would be given training in the Pakistan-China Economic Corridor Plan so that new opportunities of employment could be generated and industrial sector could progress accordingly.
The meeting aimed at seeking suggestions from industrialists and traders for development of industries in the province. It included implementation on industries policy of 2016, revival of new and old industries, creating facilities for establishment of new industries, decision about flats of workers welfare board, decrease in fees for registration of flats for industries, access of locally manufactured industrial goods to the market and matters pertaining to marble and gemstones’ laboratories and cutting machines also came under discussion on this occasion.
