KARACHI—Pak­istan Mus­lim League Nawaz (PML-N) Sindh Sec­re­tary Gen­eral, Sen­a­tor Ne­hal Hashmi has hailed the re­moval of Prime Min­is­ter Muham­mad Nawaz Sharif’s name by jour­nal­ists’ con­sor­tium, which was be­hind the re­lease of Panama Pa­pers con­tain­ing de­tails of off­shore com­pa­nies, from all its news stories. Talk­ing to APP here, the PML-N leader said that the In­ter­na­tional Con­sor­tium of In­ves­tiga­tive Jour­nal­ists (ICIJ) has ad­mit­ted its mis­take and clar­i­fied that due to an edit­ing er­ror Prime Min­is­ter Muham­mad Nawaz Sharif’s name had wrongly ap­peared in news re­port say­ing that he con­trolled an off­shore com­pany.—APP
