No downpour this week
ISLAMABAD —Mercury would rise further in different parts of the country this week with no downpour according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).
An official of PMD told APP that the day temperatures would further rise from two to four celsius degree during the next few days due to which hot weather conditions would prevail in most parts of the country.
However, the official said, a westerly wave sys-tem is likely to enter Balochistan province on Monday night (May 2) which would bring good rain in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Northern Balochistan, Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan. Hot or very hot and dry weather is likely to prevail over the most parts of the Sindh Province in the next 24 hours.—APP
