PE­SHAWAR— En­gi­neer Muham­mad Tahir, Depart­ment of Min­ing En­gi­neer­ing, Uni­ver­sity and Tech­nol­ogy, Pe­shawar has suc­cess­fully de­fended his Ph. D the­sis on Fri­day dur­ing a pub­lic sem­i­nar in front of the Ex­am­i­na­tion Com­mit­tee held at Video Con­fer­ence Hall of UET Pe­shawar.

The topic of his Ph. D the­sis was “Fail­ure Cri­te­ria for the De­sign and Sta­bil­ity Anal­y­sis of Tun­nels in Rock Mass Environment of Khy­ber Pakhtunkhwa us­ing Nu­mer­i­cal Model­ing”. Prof. Dr. Noor

Muham­mad, Dean Fac­ulty of En­gi­neer­ing, UET Pe­shawar was his su­per­vi­sor.

Engr. Muham­mad Tahir pre­sented his re­search find­ings through a sem­i­nar in pub­lic fo­rum ses­sion, fol­lowed by Vi­vaVoce ex­am­i­na­tion by the Ex­am­i­na­tion Com­mit­tee. Engr. Aman ul Mulk, Chair­man depart­ment of min­ing en­gi­neer­ing, a large num­ber of fac­ulty mem­bers and stu­dents were also re­sent on the oc­ca­sion.
