Com­mis­sioner takes ac­tion against em­ploy­ees in­volved in ir­reg­u­lar­i­ties

RAWALPINDI— Com­mis­sioner Rawalpindi Di­vi­sion Mr. Az­mat Mehmood on the re­ports of In­quiry Com­mit­tee against il­le­gal mu­ta­tion of land case or­dered com­pul­sory re­tire­ment of Ex- Naib Tehsil­dar Rawalpindi Muham­mad Khalid Ka­mal and Pat­wari Halqa Gheela Kalan Mouza Dani Gu­jran Tehsil Rawalpindi Qazi Mum­taz Ahmed while pro­ceed­ing un­der Pun­jab Em­ploy­ees Ef­fi­ciency, Dis­ci­pline and Ac­count­ably Act 2006 ( PEEDA) here in Rawalpindi.

In another en­quiry find­ings, two years pre­vi­ous ser­vice of two Ex- Naib Tehsil­dars of Ma­lik­wal Tehsil Mandi Ba­haudin Raja Ash­faq Ahmed and Syed Abid Ab­bas for­feited on mis­ap­pro­pri­a­tion and em­bez­zle­ment of mu­ta­tion fee of Rs. 3 lakh 34 thou­sand.

Ac­cord­ing to the de­tails, As­sis­tant Com­mis- sioner ( City) was ap­pointed In­quiry Of­fi­cer in the case in which Ex Naib Tehsi­dar Rawalpindi Muham­mad Khalid Ka­mal in con­nivance with Pat­wari Mum­taz Ahmed mis­used his pow­ers and il­le­gal con­ducted mu­ta­tion of land which was probe by the in­quiry com­mit­tee and charges framed against them were proved. No­tices of per­sonal hear­ing were is­sued and they were failed to pro­duce any tan­gi­ble ev­i­dence in their favour.

Sim­i­larly, two Ex Naib Tehsil­dars of Ma­lik­wal Tehsil in Mandi Ba­haudin named Raja Ash­faq Ahmed and Syed Abid Ab­bas mis­ap­pro­pri­ated mu­ta­tion fee of Rs. 3, 34 thou­sand. As­sis­tant Com­mis­sioner Jhelum con­ducted In­quiry against both Rev­enue Of­fi­cers and they were found guilty. Com­mis­sioner Rawalpindi Mr. Az­mat Mehmood on the re­port of In­quiry Of­fice, or­dered for­feit­ing of pre­vi­ous two years’ ser­vice of Ex Naib Tehsil­dars of Ma­lik­wal.
