Cases against Uzair to be heard in Cen­tral Jail’s court

KARACHI —Sindh gov­ern­ment on Satur­day de­cided to hear all the cases re­lated to Lyari gang­war head Uzair Baloch in Karachi’s Cen­tral Jail.

The Sindh Home Min­istry would is­sue a no­ti­fi­ca­tion with all the in­struc­tions soon while as many as 57 cases have been lodged against Uzair Baloch.

Ac­cord­ing to a re­port, Mulla Nisar, Us­tad Ta­jju, So­hail Dada, Shahid Bikak, Saleem, Re­han, Ah­san and Ilyas used to do the arms deal­ing for his gang, whereas, 14 com­man­dos of his gang es­caped abroad and are op­erat- ing in var­i­ous coun­tries in­clud­ing South Africa, Dubai, Oman and Iran.

Sev­eral cases were reg­is­tered again him at police sta­tions in dif­fer­ent ar­eas in­clud­ing Kalakot, Chaki­wara, Napier and Bagh­dadi.

In May 2014, the Sindh gov­ern­ment had sent doc­u­ments to the fed­eral au­thor­i­ties, seek­ing the is­suance of red war­rants against both Lyari gang­sters Uzair Baloch and Baba Ladla who were said to have es­caped from Pak­istan.

The war­rants were even­tu­ally is­sued against both Uzair and Baba Ladla on June 11 and 12, 2014, re­spec­tively.
