Two model sem­i­nar­ies be­ing set up

IS­LAM­ABAD—Two more model sem­i­nar­ies branches will be es­tab­lished in Sukkar and Karachi for im­part­ing re­li­gious, con­tem­po­rary and tech­ni­cal ed­u­ca­tion among the stu­dents, Chair­man Pak­istan Mar­dasah Ed­u­ca­tion Board (PMEB) Dr Aamir Tauseen said Sunday.

Talk­ing to teach­ers, stu­dents and em­ploy­ees of Model Madaris, Sukkar, Karachi, he said the teach­ers of three model mer­ce­nar­ies of Is­lam­abad, Karachi and Sukkar would be im­parted state of the art teach­ing cour­ses to en­able them to im­part quality teach­ing among the stu­dents of model mer­ce­nar­ies, be­ing run by PMEB in col­lab­o­ra­tion with Min­istry of Re­li­gious Af­fairs and In­ter­faith Har­mony.

The vo­ca­tional train­ing would be made nec­es­sary for the stu­dents of model madaris. The tal­ented stu­dents of mer­ce­nar­ies would be con­ferred with schol­ar­ships, he said ad­ding that ac­ti­vat­ing PMEB is need of the hour. English and Ara­bic lan­guage cour­ses will be started in model Madari.—APP
