Job-ori­ented cur­ricu­lum is vi­tal in this day and age: Dean KU

KARACHI—The Dean Fac­ulty of Man­age­ment and Ad­min­is­tra­tive Sci­ences Karachi Uni­ver­sity Prof. Dr. Khalid Iraqi has said that the world has be­come a global vil­lage due to the phe­nom­e­non of glob­al­i­sa­tion and sci­en­tific growth and de­vel­op­ment.

In this re­gard, job ori­ented cur­ricu­lum and de­grees have be­come piv­otal due to the con­tem­po­rary trends of the in­dus­try and the mar­kets.

Fac­ulty of Man­age­ment and Ad­min­is­tra­tive Sci­ences Karachi Uni­ver­sity, since its ad­vent, is com­mit­ted to pro­vide job ori­ented and modern stud­ies which would en­able its stu­dents to play lead­ing role in the cor­po­rate sec­tor, he added. He was ex­press­ing his views at the In­tern­ship and Job Fair en­ti­tled ‘Uni-Corp Cricket Con­nect’ or­gan­ised by Depart­ment of Pub­lic Ad­min­is­tra­tion Karachi Uni­ver­sity, an of­fi­cial of the in­sti­tu­tion said on Sunday.

Iraqi fur­ther stated that the fac­ulty is pro­vid­ing the ex­per­tise in the fields of pub­lic ad­min­is­tra­tion, pub­lic pol­icy, bank­ing, mar­ket­ing, pro­duc­tion, pub­lic­ity, sales and hu­man re­sources.—APP photo
