Ex­pected heat­stroke, ar­range­ments made at Govt Ser­vices Hospi­tal

KARACHI—Med­i­cal Su­per­in­ten­dent (MS) of Sindh Gov­ern­ment Ser­vices Hospi­tal, Dr. Khalid Shaikh has said that to deal with the ex­pected heat stroke, com­pre­hen­sive ar­range­ments have been made at the hospi­tal.

He said that two wards have been es­tab­lished in the hospi­tal hav­ing ca­pac­ity of 40 beds while new ceil­ing fans have also been hanged.

MS Dr. Khalid Shaikh told that in­struc­tions, how to save them­selves from se­vere heat waves, had been dis­played on panaflex in the hospi­tal too.

MS Sindh Gov­ern­ment Ser­vices Hospi­tal ad­vised the peo­ple of Karachi not to go in the sun un­nec­es­sar­ily and if it was a must then keep wa­ter and wet towel with them.—INP
