Quality policing system being restored for curbing crimes: IGP
KARACHI— A quality policing system is being resorted to in order to curb crimes and help protect the lives and property of the people.
This was stated by the Inspector General of Police ( IGP), Sindh, AD Khawaja, here on Tuesday. He was talking to a sevenmember delegation of the Association of Builders and Developers ( ABAD) Pakistan.
Led by its chairman Asif Sim Sim, the delegation met IGP Sindh at the Central Po- lice Office ( CPO) here and discussed its problems and matters relating to security etc.
A police statement said that the delegation appreciated the overall performance of the police and expressed satisfaction on its drive against crimes and assured ABAD’s cooperation.
The IGP appointed DIG Admin, Adeel Ahmed Chandio, as the focal person and issued directive regarding addressing the problems as pointed out by the ABAD delegation. He said that the Sindh Police Board would take a decision regarding ABAD- Police Liaison Committee ( APLC).
The IGP also informed that every effort was being resorting to quality policing to curb crimes, help protect lives and property of the people. He said that police would extend every assistance to the organizations concerned against ‘ Qabza mafia’ and land grabbers.— APP
