Qual­ity polic­ing sys­tem be­ing re­stored for curb­ing crimes: IGP

KARACHI— A qual­ity polic­ing sys­tem is be­ing re­sorted to in or­der to curb crimes and help pro­tect the lives and prop­erty of the peo­ple.

This was stated by the In­spec­tor Gen­eral of Po­lice ( IGP), Sindh, AD Khawaja, here on Tues­day. He was talk­ing to a sev­en­mem­ber del­e­ga­tion of the As­so­ci­a­tion of Builders and De­vel­op­ers ( ABAD) Pak­istan.

Led by its chair­man Asif Sim Sim, the del­e­ga­tion met IGP Sindh at the Cen­tral Po- lice Of­fice ( CPO) here and dis­cussed its prob­lems and mat­ters re­lat­ing to se­cu­rity etc.

A po­lice state­ment said that the del­e­ga­tion ap­pre­ci­ated the over­all per­for­mance of the po­lice and ex­pressed sat­is­fac­tion on its drive against crimes and as­sured ABAD’s co­op­er­a­tion.

The IGP ap­pointed DIG Ad­min, Adeel Ahmed Chan­dio, as the fo­cal per­son and is­sued di­rec­tive re­gard­ing ad­dress­ing the prob­lems as pointed out by the ABAD del­e­ga­tion. He said that the Sindh Po­lice Board would take a de­ci­sion re­gard­ing ABAD- Po­lice Li­ai­son Com­mit­tee ( APLC).

The IGP also in­formed that every ef­fort was be­ing re­sort­ing to qual­ity polic­ing to curb crimes, help pro­tect lives and prop­erty of the peo­ple. He said that po­lice would ex­tend every as­sis­tance to the or­ga­ni­za­tions con­cerned against ‘ Qabza mafia’ and land grab­bers.— APP
