PESHAWAR— Mem­ber Pro­vin­cial Assem­bly Rushad Khan here Wed­nes­day lauded Prime Min­is­ter Muham­mad Nawaz Sharif for an­nounc­ing Bannu In­ter­na­tional Air­port and es­tab­lish­ment of a univer­sity in Lakki Mar­wat dur­ing his ad­dress to Bannu dis­trict and termed it a gifts of Fed­eral Govern­ment for peo­ple of south­ern dis­tricts of Khyber Pak­thunkhwa. Talking to APP, Rushad Khan said up-gra­da­tion of Bannu air­port to a state of the art In­ter­na­tional Air­port was the long stand­ing de­mand of peo­ple of south­ern dis­tricts and the Prime Min­is­ter de­served full credit and ap­pre­ci­a­tion for ful­fill­ing their old de­mand. He said, this would help save time and money of over­seas Pak­ista­nis who will now eas­ily reach their na­tive ar­eas through lo­cal and in­ter­na­tional flights. He said PML-N govern­ment was fo­cus­ing on coun­try’s de­vel­op­ment, elim­i­na­tion of ter­ror­ism, early re­ha­bil­i­ta­tion of TDPs, erad­i­ca­tion of cor­rup­tion, CPEC, ad­dress­ing the core prob­lem of en­ergy cri­sis and strength­en­ing of econ­omy.—APP
