KCA to hold 50-km cy­cle race on Sun­day

KARACHI—Karachi Cy­cling As­so­ci­a­tion (KCA) in col­lab­o­ra­tion with Pak­istan Sports Wel­fare As­so­ci­a­tion (PSWA) is or­ga­niz­ing 50-kilo­me­ter Cy­cle Race, here on May 8.

Ac­cord­ing to de­tails, the race is be­ing or­ga­nized in the mem­ory of late Jour­nal­ist Rashid Ali Sid­diqui.

The race would com­mence from Rail­way sta­dium at 09:00 am on Sun­day and af­ter cov­er­ing 50-kilo­me­ter, it will cul­mi­nate at Rail­way Sta­dium.

It was re­vealed by Chief Or­ga­nizer of the race and Sports con­sul­tant of Na­tional Bank of Pak­istan (NBP), Ghu­lam Muham­mad Khan in a state­ment here.

Cy­clists, who are in­ter­ested to par­tic­i­pate in the race, should con­tact Nazir Baloch.

A com­mit­tee has been formed to make the event suc­cess­ful led by Haji Ab­dul Jaleel, Muham­mad Ar­shad, Muham­mad Naseem, Az­mat­ul­lah Khan and Ab­dul Raz­zak.

A meet­ing in this re­gard would be held at 3:00 pm on May 06 to fi­nal­ize the ar­range­ments for the race and it would be presided over by ADIG Traf­fic Po­lice Tahir Ahmed Noorani.

Rep­re­sen­ta­tives of Edhi Trust and Of­fi­cials from Traf­fic Po­lice would also at­tend the meet­ing.—APP
