China’s Shi­hezi and Nawab­shah de­calred sis­ter city

NAWAB­SHAH—The Chi­nese city of Shi­hezi has been de­clared a sis­ter city of Sha­heed Be­nazirabad District. A for­mal agree­ment in this re­gard was signed in Sha­heed Be­nazirabad on Thurs­day by Shi­hezi city’s mayor Zu Zhizin and Com­mis­sioner Nawab­shah Dr Waseem Ali.

A del­e­ga­tion of 11 Chi­nese of­fi­cials rep­re­sent-ing agri­cul­ture, ir­ri­ga­tion, live­stock and cul­ture sec­tors was also present on the oc­ca­sion be­sides the host dig­ni­taries in­clud­ing MNA Dr Azra Fazal Pechuho, MPA Saleem Raza Jal­bani, Deputy Com­mis­sioner Gan­war Ali and SSP Tan­veer Hus­sain, among oth­ers.

Speak­ing on the oc­ca­sion, Zhizin said Pakistan is a brotherly coun­try of China and that the two sides have strong bi­lat­eral re­la­tion­ship.

PE­SHAWAR: Fed­eral Min­is­ter for Plan­ning, De­vel­op­ment and Re­forms Ah­san Iqbal be­ing pre­sented a paint­ing of Is­lamia Col­lege Pe­shawar by the Prin­ci­pal of Col­lege on Thurs­day.
