Abuse of alcohol

Pakistan Observer - - OPINION -

IRDAM IMRAN The use of alcohol has become a big issue in Karachi. Our generation uses it as a passion. I wonder how is it available in our hotels? Why? Is it still in use despite being banned? It is alarming situation for us. Although alcohol is banned in Pakistan and legally no one can buy it, then why it is available in some hotels, restaurants, cabins, shops? Why? Karachi has become the hub of this societal evil. Our youth are accustomed to visiting such cafes in groups. This evil is also breeding other evils.

The government should take steps against establishments which promote such waywardness in society. It is essential for the future of Pakistan. — Karachi
