The de­bate was tele­cast live to CNBC view­ers around the world.

Re­spond­ing to a ques­tion, the Min­is­ter high­lighted ac­tions taken by the gov­ern­ment to re­vive econ­omy within less than three years of as­sump­tion of of­fice.

To a ques­tion on Bri­tain’s ref­er­en­dum for a de­ci­sion to exit from the Euro­pean Union, the min­is­ter said that it is up to the peo­ple of Bri­tain to de­cide on its fu­ture with Europe.

He was of the view that Bri­tain’s exit will not have any ad­verse im­pact on its econ­omy since it has its own cur­rency.—APP re­la­tion­ship
