PSB decides to promote 1252 officers, teachers, doctors
LAHORE—Provincial Selection Board (PSB) headed by Additional Chief Secretary Punjab Shamail Ahmed Khawaja decided to promote 1252 provincial officers, teachers and doctors from grade 18 to 19 in its meetings during the current year.
As many as 711 Women Assistant Professors and 341 Assistant Professors of government colleges have been promoted as Associate Professors in grade 19.
Similarly, 58 Senior Instructors of Higher Education Department (Commerce Wing) have been promoted as Chief Instructors while 44 Women Senior Subject Specialists and 61 Senior Subject Specialists have been promoted as District Officer (Education) and principals in grade 19.
It may be mentioned that decision was taken for promoting 10 consultant doctors associated with primary and secondary healthcare department as senior consultants in grade 19 during last three months.
Six Section Officers of grade 17 belonging to Punjab Management Service have been promoted as Deputy Secretary and District Officers (grade 18) while under former PCS Cadre, 21 District Monitoring Officers and Special Judicial Magistrates of Services and General Administration Department have also been promoted as Deputy Secretary.
Additional Chief Secretary Punjab has decided to continue this process of promotion of officers in coming days as well.—APP
