Cy­cle race in mem­ory Rashid Sid­diqui to­mor­row

KARACHI—In mem­ory of late Sports Jour­nal­ist Rashid Ali Sid­diqui, a cy­cle race is be­ing or­ga­nized here on Sun­day.

Head of CSR NBP, Owais Asad Khan would in­au­gu­rate 50-km cy­cle race in the morn­ing of May 8 (Sun­day) at Rail­way Sta­dium.

The Chief Or­ga­nizer of the race and Sports con­sul­tant of Na­tional Bank of Pak­istan (NBP), Ghu­lam Muham­mad Khan told APP here on Fri­day.

The Karachi Cy­cling As­so­ci­a­tion with in col­lab­o­ra­tion of Pak­istan Sports Wel­fare As­so­ci­a­tion (PSWA) hold­ing the 50kilo­me­ter race that starts and ends at Rail­way Sta­dium.

The race car­ries cash prize of Rs.26000.

Cy­clists, who are in­ter­ested to par­tic­i­pate in the event can con­tact Nazir Baloch, he said.

A com­mit­tee com­pris­ing Muham­mad Ar­shad, Muham­mad Naseem, Az­mat­ul­lah Khan and Ab­dul Raz­zak and led by Haji Ab­dul ul Jaleel has been formed to make the event suc­cess­ful.—APP
