BLA com­man­der sur­ren­ders in Balochis­tan

OUR COR­RE­SPON­DENT KHARAN— A com­man­der of the out­lawed Baloch Lib­er­a­tion Army laid down arms in Kharan on Sun­day.

The Baloch Lib­er­a­tion Army com­man­der iden­ti­fied as Ahmed Nawaz sur­ren­dered dur­ing a cer­e­mony held at Fron­tier Corps head­quar­ters in Kharan.

He pledged al­le­giance to the coun­try and hoisted the na­tional flag.

Nawaz also re­cited the Pak­istani na­tional an­them dur­ing the cer­e­mony.

A Fron­tier Con­stab­u­lary spokesper­son said that the ex- Baloch Lib­er­a­tion Army com­man­der used to re­cruit peo­ple in the out­lawed or­ga­ni­za­tion and used to train the ter­ror­ists.

He also used to run BLA cam­puses in the province, FC spokesper­son said.
