30- mem­ber del­e­ga­tion of Is­lamia Univer­sity vis­its Par­lia­ment House

ISLAMABAD— A 30- mem­ber del­e­ga­tion of Mass Com­mu­ni­ca­tion Depart­ment of Is­lamia Univer­sity Bahawalpur has vis­ited Se­nate, Na­tional As­sem­bly sec­re­tar­iats and some other in­sti­tu­tions.

The del­e­ga­tion head by Se­nior Pro­fes­sor Dr Wa­jid Khan of Mass Com depart­ment, was briefed by di­rec­tor pro­to­col, Se­nate sec­re­tar­iat about the work­ings and spe­cially the per­for­mance of Se­nate dur­ing the ten­ure of in­cum­bent chair­man Mian Raza Rabbani.

The del­e­ga­tion was pre­sented sou­venir from chair­man Se­nate Mian Raza Rabbani. The del­e­ga­tion was also briefed about the work­ings of Na­tional As­sem­bly, for­ma­tion and work­ings of Stand­ing Com­mit­tees and other re­spon­si­bil­i­ties of the Par­lia­ment.

The del­e­ga­tion also vis­ited Pak­istan Tele­vi­sion Head­quar­ters and got in­for­ma­tion about PTV pro­grammes, etc. Del­e­ga­tion also get first hand knowl­edge about var­i­ous TV chan­nels and ex­pressed keen in­ter­est in work­ings of dif­fer­ent de­part­ments of news­pa­pers and met with colum­nists and ed­i­tors.— APP
