Vi­o­la­tion of mar­riage or­di­nance

RAWALPINDI— Police have ar­rested 11 per­sons on vi­o­la­tion of mar­riage or­di­nance, a police spokesman said on Sun­day.

New Town police held Iftikhar and Amar as they were al­legedly in­volved in dis­play of fire­works. Police also re­cov­ered fire­works items from their pos­ses­sion.

Race Course police ar­rested Re­han and Salahud­din and re­cov­ered a Kalash­nikov and 70 rounds while Civil Line police nabbed Aa­mar and Afzal on vi­o­la­tion of mar­riage or­di­nance.

Mean­while, Tax­ila police rounded up Im­tiaz, Nawabzada and three fe­males who were al­legedly in­volved in im­moral ac­tiv­i­ties. Sep­a­rate cases have been reg­is­tered against the vi­o­la­tors of Mar­riage or­di­nance.— APP
