Suspects held in search operation
The Institute of Strategic Studies, Islamabad (ISSI) organized a seminar on ‘Human Rights, Youth and the Issue of Jammu and Kashmir’ on May 11, 2016. ISLAMABAD—Islamabad police along with Pakistan Rangers and other security agencies on Monday nabbed seven suspects during search operation in Pind Sangrial, Mara Badia and other areas adjacent to it, a police spokesman said.
According to details, officers/officials of Islamabad Police, Pak Rangers and other security agencies conducted search operation in various areas of Pind Singrial, Mara Badia and areas adjacent to it.
During the search operation participated by SHO Golra Police station and others, police nabbed seven suspects. Police team also arrested three accused and recovered arm ammunition from their possession and registered separate cases against them in Golra Police Station.
SSP Islamabad Sajid Kiani has said that the purpose of the search operation is to ensure high vigilance in the city and every effort will be made to ensure protection to the lives and property of the citizens.
He has also appealed to the citizens to remain vigilant and inform police in case of any suspicious activity around them.—APP
