FMC holds workshop on integrated curriculum
ISLAMABAD— Medical Education Department of Fazaia Medical College, Air University has arranged an interactive workshop on “Integrated Curriculum” here at main campus Islamabad says a press release. Principal FMC, Head of Departments, Faculty members and Clinicians from Pakistan Air Force hospital attended the workshop. Professor Dr. Muhammad Luqman, Director, Department of Medical Education Yusra Medical & Dental College was facilitator of the workshop. Professor Luqman explained the importance and significance of integrated curriculum.
He said that the integration of curriculum is meant to make the teaching and learning activities meaningful. The integrated curriculum helps medical students to put together the learned facts so as to get the whole picture and adopt the holistic approach while treating a patient or planning a healthcare strategies. The workshop comprised on multiple interactive sessions and presentations of participants. At the end of workshop, Principal FMC Professor. Maj Gen (r) Salman Ali thanked Professor Luqman for his valuable contribution for the knowledge enhancement of FMC faculty, students and other participants. He added that such workshops will surely give knowledge boost to participants and pledged to continue similar workshops in future at FMC.
