Three tube wells to be installed in city
LAHORE—Member Provincial Assembly Majid Zahoor has said that three more tube wells would be installed in the provincial metropolis to ensure continuous supply of water to the citizens.
Talking to media here Tuesday, he said that Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) had been directed to install three tube-wells in Regal, Old Anarkali and Islampura areas of the city.
He said that all possible resources were being utilised for reducing the economic burden and raising the living standard of the deprived segment of society.
He said that due to the government steps and holding of special bazaars, the prices of edible items have stabilised and an effective monitoring of vegetable markets is also underway in this regard.
“The PML-N government is working round-the-clock for coping with the energy crisis,” he said.
He expressed the hope that energy crisis would be overcome soon.
