Eight law­break­ers rounded up

RAWALPINDI—Po­lice have ar­rested eight law­break­ers and re­cov­ered 6,900 grams char­ras, 1,230 grams heroin, two pis­tols 30 bore with three rounds and fire­works items from the pos­ses­sion of the ar­rested ac­cused.

Tax­ila po­lice held Javed Khan for hav­ing 3085 grams char­ras while Khayal Muham­mad was sent be­hind the bars on re­cov­ery of 2575 grams char­ras. 1224 grams char­ras was also re­cov­ered from the pos­ses­sion of Bagh Gul.

Tax­ila po­lice rounded up Saeed Akhtar for car­ry­ing 1230 grams heroin. Sadiqabad po­lice net­ted Im­ran and Khalid for pos­sess­ing two 30 bore pis­tols while Race Course po­lice ar­rested Hashim who was al­legedly run­ning an il­le­gal petrol agency. Gu­jar Khan po­lice re­cov­ered fire­works items and net­ted Kam­ran.—APP
