Hot, dry weather likely in most parts

IS­LAM­ABAD —Pak­istan Me­te­o­ro­log­i­cal Depart­ment (PMD) on Fri­day fore­cast hot and dry weather for most parts of the coun­try dur­ing the next 24 hours. How­ever, rain-thun­der­storms is ex­pected at few places in Malakand, Hazara di­vi­sions, Gil­gitBaltistan, Kash­mir and its ad­join­ing ar­eas.

Ac­cord­ing to the syn­op­tic sit­u­a­tion, low pres­sure area lies over north Balochis­tan and its trough ex­tend­ing south­east­ward. A west­erly wave is still af­fect­ing up­per parts of the coun- try and likely to per­sist dur­ing next two to three days.
