KP As­sem­bly team to face Pun­jab PA in T20 Cricket

cricket team of Khy­ber Pakhtunkhwa As­sem­bly will face Pun­jab As­sem­bly team in the first match of the two matches here and the match to be played at Qaddafi Sta­dium Lahore on May 17.

This was stated by Mem­ber Provin­cial As­sem­bly Shoukat Yousafzai while talk­ing to me­di­a­men.

He said ar­range­ments in this con­nec­tion have al­ready been com­pleted and the first match of the bi­lat­eral se­ries will be played at Qaddafi Sta­dium Lahore, fol­lowed by another at Arbab Niaz Cricket Sta­dium.

Skip­per of the made cricket team, Shoukat Yousafzai said that the aim of the match is to es­tab­lish cor­dial re­la­tion be­tween the leg­is­la­tures of the Pun­jab and Khy­ber Pakhtunkhwa As­sem­blies.

He said more match of the same na­ture would be or­ga­nized with mem­bers of the Balochis­tan and Sindh As­sem­blies.

He said the team com­pris­ing Min­is­ter and MPAs in­clud­ing Mehmood Khan, Shah Far­man, Ali Amin Gand­ha­pur, Dr. Am­jad, Ish­tiaq Ur­mar, Mo­hib Ul­lah Khan, Muham­mad Ali, Khalique, Muham­mad Arshad Khan, Mehmood Jan, Gul Shahib Khan, Zia Ul­lah Ban­gash, Shah Faisal and Shah Hus­sain.

He said that the fi­nal team will be an­nounced on May 16. He said the KP As­sem­bly team have al­ready started their prac­tice at Arbab Niaz Cricket Sta­dium. He said af­ter play­ing in Lahore, the team of Pun­jab As­sem­bly will visit Pe­shawar for the sec­ond tie.—APP
