Win­ning of PK-8 re­flects peo­ple’s trust in PML-N

PE­SHAWAR—Pro­vin­cial Pres­i­dent of Pak­istan Mus­lim League Nawaz (PMLN) Pir Sabir Shah Satur­day said that win­ing of his party can­di­date in PK-8 Pe­shawar has proved that peo­ple re­jected Pak­istan Tehreek-i-In­saf led govern­ment in Khy­ber Pakhtunkhwa.

He said this while ad­dress­ing to a press con­fer­ence here at Pe­shawar Press Club Pir Sabir Shah said that win­ing of his party can­di­date Arbab Wasim Hayat has proved that peo­ple want Prime Min­is­ter Nawaz Sharif govern­ment and termed it to the vic­tory of PMLN in 2018 gen­eral elec­tions. MPA So­bia Khan and Rehmat Salam Khat­tak were present on the oc­ca­sion.

He said that PMLN govern­ment and Pak­istan Army ef­forts has elim­i­nated 90 per­cent ter­ror­ism from the coun­try. He said that Balochis­tan, Karachi and some parts of Khy­ber Pakhtunkhwa were no go ar­eas but now the sit­u­a­tions re­tuned to normalcy.

Crit­i­ciz­ing the KP govern­ment he said that the pro­vin­cial govern­ment was fail in restora­tion of peace in the prov­ince. He said that trade deal­ers due to re­ceiv­ing ex­tor­tion let­ters on daily base have mi­grated to other parts of the coun­try.

Pir Sabir Shah said that the pro­vin­cial govern­ment would bring up­com­ing bud­get with Rs80 bil­lion deficits while due to lack of proper im­ple­men­ta­tion they have lapse 70 to 80 per­cent de­vel­op­men­tal bud­get.

Ap­pre­ci­at­ing the fed­eral govern­ment, Sabir Shah said that sev­eral de­vel­op­men­tal works have com­pleted while large num­ber of de­vel­op­men­tal works were un­der pro-gress. He said that load­shed­ding have been re­duced in KP adding that it would be com­pletely elim­i­nated till 2018.

He said that China Pak­istan Eco­nomic Cor­ri­dor (CPEC) is a big project and it will bring real change in the coun­try. Some peo­ple cre­at­ing hur­dle in the way of CPEC but they do not know that this project is how much im­por­tant for the de­vel­op­ment of our coun­try he added.

Sabir Shah pointed out the prob­lems of Pak­istani pil­grims in pre­vi­ous gov­ern­ments in re­turn were crit­i­cized govern­ment ar­range­ments for them but this time they have ap­pre­ci­ated the ef­fort of Prime Min­is­ter Nawaz Sharif make for them both in Saudi Ara­bia and Pak­istan.
