Eight out­laws held

ISLAMABAD—Islamabad Po­lice have ar­rested eight out­laws from var­i­ous ar­eas of the city and re­cov­ered cash, weapons, wine and looted items from their pos­ses­sion, a po­lice spokesman said.

He said that Aab­para po­lice ar­rested Yasir Masih , Ma­jid Masih and re­cov­ered 20 liter wine and 20 cans of beer from their pos­ses­sion. CIA po­lice re­cov­ered a Kalash­nikov from an ac­cused Ishrat Hanif while Bani Gala po­lice re­cov­ered a tem­pered car (IDD-1689) from an ac­cused Ejaz Ali.

Ra­mana po­lice nabbed two thieves Iqbal and Shahid and re­cov­ered a mo­bile phone and lap top from their pos­ses­sion. Shams Colony po­lice ar­rested Laiq Za­man and re­cov­ered a revolver as well as 16 rounds from them while Loi Bher Po­lice nabbed Sha­heer ul Is­lam for having a 30-bore pis­tol.—APP Res­i­dents of UC-78 Dhoke Kala Khan hold­ing a protest demon­stra­tion against short­age of wa­ter in the area.
