Corruption in Balochistan

Pakistan Observer - - OPINION - FIDA ZAMAN

Corruption is one of the major problems in Balochistan. Due to growing corruption in the province rate of unemployment and poverty is on the rise. The corruption is most prevalent among politicians and other institutions. However, NAB has done a commendable work by arresting the secretary finance Mushtaq Raisani due to massive corruption.

According to the NAB estimates the total value if cash, bonds, and jewellery recovered from Raisani’s house was 730 millions rupees. NAB should act with impunity against all corrupt elements, as done by COAS against corrupt FC personnel, which I really appreciate. — Via email
