MQM worker suffers heart attack in Rangers custody
KARACHI—A worker of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) on Sunday underwent heart treatment after suffering a serious heart attack during Rangers custody in Karachi, media reported.
MQM’s Farhan Shabbir, who is in Rangers detention since being arrested on March 11, 2015, suffered cardiac arrest on Satuyrday.
He was moved to the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD) where the MQM workers underwent angioplasty. Doctors say Farhan Shabbir is improving.
