MQM worker suf­fers heart at­tack in Rangers cus­tody

KARACHI—A worker of Mut­tahida Qaumi Move­ment (MQM) on Sun­day un­der­went heart treat­ment af­ter suf­fer­ing a se­ri­ous heart at­tack dur­ing Rangers cus­tody in Karachi, me­dia re­ported.

MQM’s Farhan Shab­bir, who is in Rangers de­ten­tion since be­ing ar­rested on March 11, 2015, suf­fered car­diac ar­rest on Satuyr­day.

He was moved to the Na­tional In­sti­tute of Car­dio­vas­cu­lar Dis­eases (NICVD) where the MQM work­ers un­der­went an­gio­plasty. Doc­tors say Farhan Shab­bir is im­prov­ing.
