Im­ple­men­ta­tion of road projects an­nounced by PM in Kotli Sat­tian tehsil dis­cussed

ISLAMABAD—The road con­struc­tion projects an­nounced by Prime Min­is­ter of Pak­istan Muham­mad Nawaz Sharif dur­ing visit of Kotli Sat­tian tehsil in Rawalpindi Dis­trict were dis­cussed in a meet­ing of High­way of­fi­cials held in the com­mit­tee room of Solid Waste Man­age­ment Com­pany, Rawalpindi. The meet­ing was chaired by Raja Ish­faq Sar­war Pun­jab Min­is­ter for Labour and Man­power.

Par­lia­men­tary Sec­re­tary Cab­i­net and Es­tab­lish­ment Di­vi­sion Raja Javed Ik­las, Pres­i­dent PML (N) Met­ro­pol­i­tan Sar­dar Muham­mad Naseem Khan, Raja Muham­mad Hanif MPA, MD, Solid Waste Man­age­ment Com­pany Ir­fan Qureshi, Sec­re­tary Mu­das­sar Chaudhry, SE, High­ways An­sar Mehmood, XEN Riaz Hus­sain Shah and Ghu­lam Hus­sain at­tended the meet­ing.

Raja Ash­faq Sar­war said that in or­der to mit­i­gate the trans­porta­tion dif­fi­cul­ties of lo­cal peo­ple as well com­muters of Azad Kash­mir, the Prime Min­is­ter dur­ing his pub­lic ad­dress at Kotli Sat­tian an­nounced con­struc­tion of four im­port link roads in­clud­ing Lower Topa Ko­hala, Chi­rah Chowk Kotli

Sat­tian, Chira Chowk via Bun Karor and Kotli Sat­tian Gulehra Gali via Bun Roads. He asked En­gi­neers ofProvin­cial High­way Depart­mentto com­plete all the re­quired for­mal­i­ties for al­lo­ca­tion of funds so that the work on th­ese roads could be started with­out any de­lay. The en­gi­neers brief about the progress and said that pre­lim­i­nary work is in progress.

The Pun­jab Min­is­ter said that peo­ple of the area are highly in­debted to the Prime Min­is­ter and anx­iously wait­ing for start of the work on the road con­struc­tion projects. He said on the oc­ca­sion that present elected gov­ern­ment is com­mit­ted to re­solve the civic prob­lems of peo­ple and in or­der to ad­dress the prob­lems be­ing faced by the masses; Prime Min­is­ter of Pak­istan is vis­it­ing dif­fer­ent far flung ar­eas of the coun­try. He said un­der the lead­er­ship of Chief Min­is­ter Pun­jab Muh­m­mad Shah­baz Sharif, Pro­vin­cial Gov­ern­ment is also com­mit­ted to serve the peo­ple by bring­ing ba­sic fa­cil­i­ties of life at their door steps.

Raja Ash­faq Sar­war con­demned the ne­far­i­ous de­signs of those el­e­ments who want to sab­o­tage the pace of progress in the coun­try with their neg­a­tive pol­i­tics. He said gov­ern­ment would foil th­ese neg­a­tive tac­tics and would en­sure timely com­ple­tion of de­vel­op­ment projects to fa­cil­i­tate the peo­ple.
