Authorities directed to check dengue hot spots
RAWALPINDI—District Coordination Officer (DCO) Talat Mehmood Gondal has stressed the need for coordinated efforts to check vulnerable spots and effective indoor outdoor surveillance so that anti-dengue measures could be made fruitful.
The DCO while chairing meeting, said eradication of dengue was not the only responsibility of any individual entity, but all government departments, local bodies and community would have to work together and ensure preemptive measures to address the issue without any delay.
He said that strict action would be taken against those showing negligence in performance of their duties. He directed to clean graveyards, tyre shops and godowns.
He said all departments should play their due role to make the campaign successful.—APP
