ISLAMABAD—Giga Karate Club Belt Awarding Ceremony was held on Sunday at DHA Phase 2.

Sihan Muhammad Intikhab (Black belt, 5th Dan) the dojo instructor, awarded the students with the belts, says a press release issued here.

Sihan has represented Pakistan on a national as well as international level a number of times, claiming the title of the championship as well.

It may be mentioned that Giga Karate Club (GKC) is a registered branch of International Kyokushin Karate Organization based in Japan, whose founder was Master Mas Oyama, one of the great masters in the world and Master Inamullah Khan, founder in Pakistan.

Kyokushin is a full body contact fighting system, played on knockout base, and is in fact very popular. It provides physical as well as mental and spiritual training.

In the ceremony young students showed great skill and many upgraded their belts to the next level, in which Abdullah, Hamza, Ushna, Abdul Hadi, Ayesha, Ismail, Ali, Fatima are just few of the many names.—APP scandal that threatens the athletic superpower’s participation in the Rio Olympics.

Mutko, writing in The Sunday Times, admitted the Russian Athletics Federation and athletes had made “serious mistakes” breaking anti-doping rules.

He said “they had rejected the principle of fair-play so fundamental to sport for immediate benefits.

“Let us be clear. We are ashamed of them.”
