Over 2,600 sir for Karachi Uni­ver­sity ad­mis­sion test

KARACHI—A test was con­ducted at the Uni­ver­sity of Karachi (KU) on Sun­day for ad­mis­sions to M.Phil, Ph.D. MS and MD,in which 2,605 can­di­dates ap­peared, KU of­fi­cial said. Prof. Dr. Khalid Iraqi along­with Dr. Sha­keel Ahmed Khan and Reg­is­trar Prof. Dr. Moaz­za­mAli Khan in­spected the test pro­ceed­ings. Vice Chan­cel­lor Prof. Dr. Muham­mad Qaiser, also vis­ited dif­fer­ent de­part­ments and ex­pressed his sat­is­fac­tion over the ar­range­ments made for the ad­mis­sion test.

All the de­part­men­tal chair­men have sub­mit­ted the re­sults to the BASR Of­fice. List of suc­cess­ful can­di­dates will be dis­played on the no­tice board of the re­spec­tive de­part­ments and on the of­fi­cial web­site of KU on May 23, 2016. Suc­cess­ful can­di­dates will be called by the de­part­ment for in­ter­view. Such can­di­dates may con­tact the de­part­ments for the date of in­ter­view. The uni­ver­sity of­fi­cial said that the test was held in a very peace­ful and dis­ci­plined man­ner. He said ad­e­quate se­cu­rity ar­range­ments were made on the di­rec­tives of the Vice Chan­cel­lor. He said that se­nior pro­fes­sors and Deans were avail­able for guid­ing the stu­dents.—APP
